Did you know that CT machines are rather solid? Definitely recommend not hitting your head on one. However, if you do, you're in a really convenient place to get some imaging done.pic.twitter.com/dsmLqa44rz

It happens! Like 13 years ago after I treated for a brain tumor, I finished a CT scan and the tech said, "all done." But, I had lots on my mind so I forgot that means, "wait" not "get up." I partially sat up while the board was on the wrong side. It slid back. Then I saw stars.
Considering I was done with treatment, it was funny to me. And, once the tech realized I was okay, he explained that it happens a lot -- that's why they repeatedly say, "stay laying down until we get you." Who knew? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ooof! I did wait, but I kind of randomly collapse when upright, which is why I was having the imaging in the first place. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ indeed!
Oh, medicine. (I seriously feel like someone needs to compile a list of MR/CT tech stories. They probably witness some some weird.)
P.S. Hope everything turns out normal!
Ha, right? Well, I'm actually hoping they find something, because the next round of tests would be very unpleasant :-/
Ah, yea. IDK if you've talked to someone about it but that's a *really* common experience. When I was told what I had, I smiled and experienced relief because, "finally, I knew something was wrong!" I've heard that story A LOT. So, I hope they find something simple, and soon!
I actually haven't had anyone told me that -- though I have been told that I'm a "House case". It's been four years now, so keep your fingers crossed!
I will!
