Also, I must say that one of my committee members (
@jennifernvictor) has been extremely helpful in trying to remind me that a dissertation is a pedagogical exercise not my life's work. (But, that lesson is hard for someone who would refactor code 10 times if a name seemed wrong.)2 replies 1 retweet 2 likes -
It is most definitely not your life's work! You have a whole life to live! Besides, I think most people write their life's work on their own time
