    This K recovery will only get worse and worse for the hardest-pressed workers if major relief continues to get stalled and blocked.

    K-shaped recovery update: Employment for the top 2/3 of wage earners is about -2 percentage points below February. For the bottom 1/3, it's -7.3pp lower, more than 3x worse. And their employment fell by around -1pp in November alone.

    Agree with this thread! brilliance, heart & policy chops will make her a great champion for progressive domestic policies. Just like her late, wonderful mother Lois Rice. (We tried to hire Susan at NEC in 1993. 27 years later she finally comes to domestic side!)

    I have seen in action at USUN and as NSA. She is fierce, one of the smartest people in the room always, and she is far from a wall flower. asking Susan to lead DPC elevates important issues--poverty, healthcare, income inequality, nutrition (and more)

    Yes. It's also a victory for democracy (and common sense)!

    This alone is a victory for the growing world of mostly-left antitrust activists. For years, tech and even more moderate scholars have said their calls for breakups are radical and unnecessary. Now, *the* regulator is saying the opposite.

    Members of both parties are applauding the Facebook suit. If they're serious, they should rewrite antitrust law to make clear that courts need to look beyond consumer welfare. (Yes, the law already supports a broader view, but the courts ignore it. So give the courts no choice.)

    Perhaps, I am truly the world’s greatest optimist - because I am just deeply disappointed the - Ohio State game is canceled. But likely, I’m just missing the tradition that has excited me every year me since I was a 6 year-old growing up in Ann Arbor.

    Proud of my good friend & former colleague who announced for Mayor of NYC. I've seen his heart & dedication & leadership on behalf of working families & on issues like fair housing (disparate impact rule & affirmatively furthering fair housing).
