    This is huge, huge news. Today, the Netherlands Supreme Court ruled that radical emissions reductions — 25% by the end of 2020 — are *mandatory*. This is the first time in the world that a citizens-led lawsuit has found a legal duty to prevent climate change.

    The Dutch Supreme Court confirms that the State has a positive obligation to reduce GHG emissions in order to protect our right to life. Thank you !
