Not to be personal on main butttt: My current job is a very toxic environment so today I’m going to request less hours and *hopefully* gain the strength to open up commissions/post art.

That happened with my job too. I got less hours, but it only isolated me more and then they made me redundant anyway! The best thing they ever did for me was pay me to leave! Leave as soon as you can! It's so not worth the mental torture.
It’s the type of job where they have you work right under full-time so you work maximum hours without benefits. Not to mention crappy management. Thank you for the advice and support! I was definitely hesitant but ultimately sounds like a good idea.
