I have an old wordpress blog that I'm tired of maintaining. I pay for hosting at a place where I have filesystem access. I update wp myself. It's all so incredibly 15 years ago. :p What's the easiest way to move it to something hosted?

I want to keep all the old content - I just don't want to maintain wordpress myself anymore. And before you suggest it, I definitely don't want a NEW blogging platform to maintain. :p

I pondered this same thing as I was thinking about refreshing my whole website (which was also WP). I eventually exported all the posts to markdown and imported into a Jekyll site I made (which is on Github and auto-publishes to Netlify)...

It was a bit of work to convert, but finding a site theme online made it easier. There's also always http://wordpress.com (which I pondered doing as well). Probably an easier conversion but with auto updates

[goes to http://flywheel.com ]
[then does a search for the web-based flywheel]
Oh yeah, looks like http://getflywheel.com could host WP sites too, and my friend Jen works there
