      51) Limelight (Charles Chaplin 1952) Written, produced, directed by and starring Chaplin based on a novella he wrote and he co-wrote the music. It’s pretty much an early version of A Star Is Born. It’s Ok. Highlight is his double act with Buster Keaton (💖). A bit dry otherwise.pic.twitter.com/qWSrKU6S8j

      52) Spartacus (Stanley Kubrick 1960) This blew me away. Never seen it before but obviously grew up with it part of the lexicon. No idea why it took so long but it’s incredible. Amazing flawless cast & direction Uncharacteristically good turn from ‘worst actor ever’ Olivier too.pic.twitter.com/oJ5ZMv8leP

      53) About A Boy (Chris & Paul Weitz 2002) If you ever wanted to watch Uncle without the charm then this is for you. Nah, not really. Hugh Grant is great. So young. Makes me sick. Sweet film if not up to the heights of Music & Lyrics. Also I was singing that fucking song for days.pic.twitter.com/bJQJql07Y3

      54) Dr Zhivago (David Lean 1965) I was staying in a cottage with limited DVDs & watched an odd mix. This was built up in my head as a stone cold classic, but I didn’t LOVE it. Steiger is great. The scenery is incredible & Julie Christie reminded me of all my lost loves. Stunning.pic.twitter.com/ijKs37yplo

      55) Boxcar Bertha (Martin Scorsese 1972) Scorsese’s 2nd feature & produced by Roger Corman, I don’t what I was expecting but it wasn’t this. Slight & silly & not great, Barbara Hershey is gorgeous and it makes you want to live a life jumping on Boxcars, but not ones in this film.pic.twitter.com/z4J9ot2Tkl

      56) The Changeling (Clint Eastwood 2008) Angelina Jolie is fucking great in this really quite well directed period film from Clint. Quite a stressful, but satisfying mystery thriller. Sort of enjoyable, but ultimately nothing too special.pic.twitter.com/h4AIGDQYR8

      57) Who’s That Knocking at My Door (Martin Scorsese 1967) Now this is Scorsese’s first film & much more in line with what he’d go on to do. Plotwise it’s nothing too exciting, but it’s filled with a vibrant energy that you’d see in later films. Reminded me of a grittier Swingers.pic.twitter.com/sanN1MeoJX

      58) The Good Son (Joseph Ruben 1993) Does for Macaulay Culkin what Jaws did for sharks. Good example of early 90s films like Sleeping with the Enemy where the threat is closer than you think. What do you know? Same director. An oddity written by Ian McEwan. Elijah Wood is great.pic.twitter.com/0TyeU7ASf3

      59) Army of Darkness (Sam Raimi 1992) I got so many copies of AoD on DVD & discovered the rare & superior UK Cut on a German BoxSet I bought ages ago. Favourite film? Maybe not anymore. Most watched? Definitely. My fondest film. The film only I’d heard of till the internet came.pic.twitter.com/wMWWhHLpUd

      60) Batman Forever (Joel Schumacher 1995) More visually in common with Dick Tracy, Jim Carrey steals the show. Luckily its a total shit show so everyone else can relax. A film that never improves. This time I noticed how bad Bruce Wayne’s security is. So annoying. Fuck Off Film!pic.twitter.com/O0mBERTntF
