For all the people telling us to commit to physical media in order to save cinema, bear in mind my Blu-ray player is ten years old and replacing it like-for-like will cost $2,500 (if possible). They’re going to be niche devices before we know it.

I’m terrified that if I wait for my Oppo to die, there won’t be an option available. And if I buy a replacement now, it will be boxed for five years!
