autism sometimes feels like you picked the weird option in a would you rather question and traded in very basic abilities for ridiculously niche skills

this is why autism isn't a linear spectrum of functionality. very frustrating when people see your skills in some areas and then fail to grasp that you can simultaneously struggle in others, like if you're good at eye contact you must be able to handle crowds too, etc
