I don't think any 3DO games have redbook audio. They use AIFF files and stream files. At least one uses MIDI files.

Ever played AD&D Deathkeep? I just played through it ~a month ago on 3DO & loved it despite being pretty medium on its sorta-prequel Slayer. It's more traditional FPS than dungeon crawler, which was a *huge* improvement. Reminded of Hexen but with more RPG elements.
