My other area of interest are these US companies like Roklan that were doing contract work for Parker Brothers, etc. in the early-mid 80s.
None seem more prolific than Roklan. Borta claims they did about 350 titles for about 20 publishers.

Some of the game names he drops: Intellivision Donkey Kong and Zaxxon, Cave of the Word Wizard, Atari's Firefox for the 2600 and 800.
