      What's the deal with IGS? Robocco Wars was originally supposed to be published by Taito, and Dahna had some Taito people on it.

      @gdri oh man, this company. *opens IGS.txt* outsourced a bunch of weird and interesting games and then burned out as fast as they showed up.

      @gdri their ties to taito seem to be just opportunism. in '91 IGS picked up FC puzznic and aruden raruden which they changed to robocco wars

      @gdri taito has regualr FC releases through 91 but there's an odd gap from july to dec. that i don't see in other years around this time.

      @gdri and sure enough IGS releases several taito games around this time (puzznic: mid-july, robocco: oct, world beach volley and danha: dec)

          @gdri tenuous, but they published in EU, would have in NA (but got canned there). possible they were going to in JP but handed it off to IGS
