@GDRI Was the unreleased ports of Air Buster, Same! Same! Same!, and Tatsujin for X68000 developed by Inter State, Kaneko's consumer subsidiary? And were they actually in development? There's gameplay footage of Air Buster showing stage one only.
Air Buster: Probably by Inter State, because the same programmer turns up on Mega Drive DJ Boy. I don't know about the other ones.

Why were these ports cancelled? Is it because of Toaplan's bankruptcy? I think that Ving was planning ports for Fire Shark and Truxton for the FM Towns too. They didn't go bankrupt until 1994, so probably not, but I can't say for sure.
