Japan Aicom (president Akio Inoue) and Japan Soft Technology (president Hiromitsu Kususe) merged into Sammy. Both companies developed commercial and home video game software under Sammy's amusement business unit (headed by Minoru Suzuki).
With this merger, Inoue would become an advisor to Sammy's AM business division.
