      yeah, they knew they could do better and they did the people behind the new port are a mix of veterans and newer homebrew guys

      The original port has a tendency to drop sound effects at random (and when it played them it didn't always do it right) and controls are kind of stiffy. That said, new port apparently has no title screen music and I'm not amused :/

      I haven't checked it super closely (played a pal's mini but none of mine have arrived...) but there's unused songs from the board in the sound test so if anything's missing there are probably behind-the-scenes explanations

          Well yeah (arcade games usually try to keep sound quiet or even mute during attract to avoid adding to the noise overload in the room), I was just hoping they'd at least try to keep it from the original MD version lol
