yeah, they knew they could do better and they did the people behind the new port are a mix of veterans and newer homebrew guys

The original port has a tendency to drop sound effects at random (and when it played them it didn't always do it right) and controls are kind of stiffy. That said, new port apparently has no title screen music and I'm not amused :/

Maybe my collector mindset going, but I would want the unreleased stuff first! But I guess it's not unreleased because of the PS2 disc. Still, I'm sure they were reacting to Star Fox 2.
