    really happy with this book! the images are incredible and semi-sorted by scale, so as you progress you go out further into the cosmos... nitpicking, i wish the lines were softer so they could blend better into the colors, but the book is exactly what i needed ☺️

    my friends - be sure to talk with your kids about space *another* rover to mars... along with a new "mars helicopter"... and microphones to record audio - for the 1st time ever! it's the 3rd mission by earthlings to mars *this year*!

    I am healthy and on my way to Mars, but may be too loud for the antennas on Earth while I'm so close. Ground stations are working to match my signal strength so that I can communicate clearly with my team.

    seems the term is tsundoku :) ht and i like the etymology – from wikipedia: "It combines elements of tsunde-oku (積んでおく, to pile things up ready for later and leave) and dokusho (読書, reading books)."

    note: I am still somewhat bullish on "the Bay Area" but my guess is it'll likely morph to Bay Area circa mid-1990s where SF wasn't the epicenter...

    almost every work mtg I have, has at least one person that has moved somewhere to be closer to family / get more space/ get cheaper rent lots of things up in the air but the exodus from the city of San Francisco is palpable

    discovered today a realm of twitter where math teachers teach their kids at a level I hadn't contemplated before... (talk math w/ your kids) probably true for every craft - kids of artists w/ art; kid of cooks, cooking, etc. there's a cool school to be made from this
