    If you filed your 2020 and are still waiting for your refund... get in line😞 As of last week, the IRS said that it had processed all error-free returns received PRIOR to April 2021. They're working as fast as they can, but there are still MILLIONS of unprocessed returns.💸

    As of Oct 30, 2021, the IRS had a backlog of over 2.7 million unprocessed amended returns. Taxpayer Advocate blog reports processing is far in excess of 20 weeks. TAS says they cannot help with amended returns. Who can help? Try E mailing Representative or Senator.

    I feel like funding would be more palatable in if pitched as providing better, reliable services for existing taxpayers. Positioning it as resources to pursue rich evaders is not the selling point that some think it is.
