OH in a Kings Cross cafe: “I want sausages and egg, but not gross sausages, just slightly gross sausages, you know? Mildly disgusting. And two fried eggs. Thanks.”

A lot of tweets about miss that 02 February 2020 is a palindrome in USA, UK and ISO formats; it is a palindrome day of the year (33) and there are a palindrome of days left in the year (333). This will never happen again. More details here:

After Monday we get most of a week of solid “meh” weather. So good.

It won't, though. We'd do far better to accept that the disease will spread to Australia and not pointlessly sabotage our economy and make Chinese Australians feel like second class citizens

Tracker (1987). First person flying-in-a-maze-of-tubes sim. Impossible to win, as it kept crashing. I kept playing anyway, so much so that I had to step through and disable the copy protection so I didn’t finish wearing out the floppy disc. Preserved here:

I don’t feel less complicit in crimes against humanity when red T shirts maintain concentration camps with a resigned sigh instead of a hard-on.

Local management has different people blowing different whistles but anyone paying attention can hear sworn allegiance to authority and country (TB), the primacy of corporate interests (JF), and fear of anyone who’s not supreme (KK). What’s the chord? Nicer fascists, I guess.

Its also 100% rational and predictable to refuse to co-operate with someone insisting “nuh-uh, you’ve got to eat shit again” but yet again, with stakes this high, management insists they eat shit again.
