    The Post is reporting that the Unite the Right 2 rally is a huge crowd of... 30 people. There are thousands of counterprotesters. It’s almost like physically confronting white supremacists and putting their faces on social media actually works.

    Is there a good reason (i.e., not "tradition") why women only do 5 dives in competition (vs. 6 for the men)? ? I'd bet that today's women athletes have at least the stamina and training of the men these days, if not brute strength. And lots of women do armstands anyway.

    The needs of the middle class always matter because some of them are incredibly effective at fighting for their own interests, at the expense of others if necessary. We can harness that by making common cause between them and the poor (eg by getting the middle class on transit).

    I should point out that all of this is predicated on 's original modeling for a Regional Rail schedule on this line is achievable, and I don't know (other than full high platforms on both tracks, and obviously, electrification) what additional investments are required.

    Likewise, an early-morning positioning run from Framingham is run in revenue service, and I bet even departing at 4:27 it would get ridership (from T and airport employees if no one else).

    I've also written (although not modeled) some runs in revenue service from Readville, on the Fairmount Line, in the early morning (there's no *need* for these to be revenue runs, but there's also no reason why they shouldn't be).
