They have the right to say what they want, but if YouTube deems that as breaking their ToS then they have the freedom to remove them. Even if you don't agree with it, that's how it works.

They should just instead let the users or the viewers (in yt case) choose who will have exposure and who won't. Before this situation it was sorta FoS on social media.

LOL so a platform that has a large enough user base to quite literally start a world war, should allow ISIS videos to organically rise to the front trending page, "if that's what their userbase decides". What a hilariously ridiculous proposition.

Yes, I agree with you, they are a private company and they have their own ToS, but until now, they weren't censoring people like alex jones or for the reasons why they banned him. They are a open platform, but they can censor you. They are now acting like a moral arbiter.

With this ban, they have put more work for themselves. Now people will expect them to do the same in the future with other examples. And the private companies are not politicaly neutral. So some people will have their platform, and some will be censored.
