First results from Seattle: The recall against Kshama Sawant is ahead, 53% to 47%. (A margin of 2K votes.)
Importantly: Later ballots skew left in Seattle, & Sawant overcame a larger deficit in her last re-election race, so a long way to go.

It's all about the age of the voters with uncounted ballots. This shows just the 2,100 collected but uncounted from drop boxes this morning. There will be another batch of these collected tonight, plus more arriving in the mail. Sawant will win.

question- how many outstanding do you think are left?
Looks like 41% of registered voters are already counted, which seems really high for a special recall election? Those 2.1k alone couldn't swing the race

What's kind of crazy is that >65 make up 22% of all voters, but only 8% of election day ballot returns. 25-35 are 24.3% of received votes, but 35% of election day ballot returns.
