for bringing up this important detail. Much better barriers are made of concrete and will wreck a car's tire... which is a better deterrent than a plastic stick for a car entering a bike path!

If an immediate safety improvement is needed, @DDOTDC will often build out tactical safety infrastructure (think curb extensions, plastic bollards, etc). While quick + cost-effective, these temporary materials often fall short on quality, safety standards, & durability.

3. Some benefits of restoration cannot be sold, such as the benefits of biodiversity and ecosystem services that we cannot sell. We must also focus on ecosystem services. The need for both market-based and donation-based approaches.
