I completely empathise with Sanna Marin and feel sad that she has had to go thru this torture, I do wish that she did not have to make this apology. The fact that she had to and then had to justify her hard work is a terrible indictment of our times...

..and the hypothetical standards we impose on our leaders. "I did not miss a single day of work, I haven't missed a single work assignment and never will." These are unnecessary words in the context of her having a good time with friends..

..It is ok to let your hair down, to miss a day or work, to not be perfect in everything you take up. We have to learn to be kinder and less judgemental not only towards our leaders and our teams but also with ourselves. That is the only way towards a happier, healthier world.

It is quite an irony that citizenry all over the world use different yardsticks for themselves personally & for those in public life. Expectation that “folks in public life should lead by example” undermines human mind & drives the person in Q put up an unnatural farcical act.
