Question: I bought a piece of software (Omnigraffle) in 2012 for $99. It crashes on the latest OS (known issue). The vendors won’t fix and refuse to upgrade my license. What’s correct?
Unfortunately, they can argue that you bought that specific version of the program so they don't owe you another (since it was 6 years ago), but they'd be losing a customer.

I would tend to agree. I should want to upgrade because it’s better software, not because my original purchase is now useless. I would be happy with an upgrade to non-latest as long as it works.

Also I won’t buy an upgrade. Will just move to Google Draw.
