To be honest, I’m really nervous now. I can’t actually remember what comparison I made if any :)

Really? I spent 4 minutes comparing them? I can’t remember doing that at all.

yeah, 4 on that. 2.5 so far on color problems... and now I think I'm into your "final thoughts"

your last thought was to tell folks "if you like concordia, maybe try this"

I’ve played Concordia twice, and I think that Transatlantic looks more interesting than Concordia does. Haven’t had the chance to play it yet though.

my whole thought here is that they're not comparable in many ways. it's like comparing viticulture and waterdeep because they are both worker placement games

I can see that. Other than being by the same designer, I didn’t see any similarities between the games.

There are many similarities: basic deck cycling, for one. Several of the specific card effects, as well (for several more). You also acquire new cards from a card row (which changes in a different way). And same designer. Why _wouldn’t_ you compare the two?

Most of the reviews said "Not as good as Concordia". ...but is it good? That's what I wanted to know in the first place.

i've arrived at my final thought in this matter. if it's a comparison, label it as such... and not a review
