What are 4 games that can be learned and played in less than an hour that highlight modern board games and their varied mechanics best for new players? I am doing a unit with Gr 8s where in groups of 4 they will each learn and teach a game over 4 one hour classes.

I use Sushi Go in my workshops - I don't like it but it always goes down well! Karuba is great too. Ticket to Ride (pushing the 1hr limit though). Linko is super simple but awesome. Divinaire is a bit like Sushi Go, but with bluffing...
