I still need to try a few more things but for now it looks like a great choice for my boardgame prototypes.
If there is one thing I would love to have in this soft of software is "symbols in form, not content". Do you know anything like this?
More specifically, I have a letter on the corner of each card. I want them all to have the same font, size and place, but different letters.
Closest in Designer could be: Have the letter be part of a symbol, uncheck "Sync" in the Symbols tab, change the letter, turn Sync on again.
Only problem is that subsequent changes to the symbol's label (incl. font, size, etc.) are not going to affect this instance, either.
This was the first thing I tried, but even after turning sync on again no changes to the "original" symbol are applying.
I take that back. Just added some other shapes to the symbol and they do appear on both. Font and size are independent now.
Yeah, that's how it should work – googling this I found someone saying it may be changed at some point, where font/size isn't desynched, too
I'd love to have something like that, it comes up in every prototype. Still, everything I used in Illustrator seems to be here. :)
