Game design is a tough, emotionally-exhausting job, moreso on KS. There it's like baking a cake on-stage while the audience screams at you.
Some asking why I designed it like that. I answered but I would rather have spent the time testing and completing the design.

I don't accept KS projects unless the publisher agrees that I'm not going to be reading comments - they pass things on to me.

I certainly understand it. I haven't been replying on KS (can't without backing it), but on BGG it feels rude not to.
