Q9: What tips would you give to someone wanting to design a board games based on a book? #BoardGameHour
@IndieGameAllies I've done that with my own game, but I didn't start with a theme from a book, which is the @BoardGameHour topic this week.

@gamesbymanuel @BoardGameHour Nothing wrong with designing assuming a theme is going to be there, but then having a playtest copy w/o it.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@IndieGameAllies @BoardGameHour My game has had four themes so far and it worked with all of them. Whenever I change, I adapt the game too. -
@gamesbymanuel @BoardGameHour So then what's the worry? - Show replies

@gamesbymanuel @BoardGameHour Think of it like a website. There's a back end (mechanics) and the front end (theme). Two distinct components.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
