I only agree if your goal is to find commercial success, which is not my main priority. Sure, I'd like them to sell but I do it as a hobby so my rent doesn't depend on it, and imagine it would be much more rewarding to find something new.

I see! It was the first one I saw, so thanks for the context. It's something I had noticed about videogames. The highest budget, most polished, popular experiences are just executing older ideas better than those that came before. Which has its merits, but doesn't excite me.
