back when Constantine first came out I didn't get why the reaction online was so poor today, understanding what I do about comic nerds, I get it now. Constantine is such a fun moviehttps://twitter.com/erikaishii/status/1421036526478139393 …

First movie I watched alone in the cinema because nobody wanted to see it. It was fun! I'm guessing a lot more fun if you don't expect it to be faithful to the comics.

I went to watch alone too, when I was in Highschool. Immediately went ro a comic book store at the same mall where the movie theater was and bought the comic book adaptation of the movie. That was my intro to Constantine. Lol

Did you find any of what you liked in the movie in the comics as well? In my mind they're completely separate.

They sure are completely separate. I haven't explored the comics as much as I would like but yes, it is different.

If you're interested, Alan Moore's Swamp Thing run, where Constantine was created, is well worth a read. :)pic.twitter.com/yKReFGt9eR

It's been on my backlog forever. I like quite a bit of Alan Moore's comics
