What bothers me the most about these kind of experiences is that it will make non technical users feel stupid. I have to re-build a lot of confidence in e.g. my mother in law, or my kids: "YOU are not stupid! These things drive me up the wall. They should be as frictionless as possible, and it's in their interest too. Also, why are all online storefronts on consoles so unresponsive and lifeless? I miss the Wii shop theme, made me want to stick around for a while longer, no rush.

The lack of user experience is over all kind of software. My kids are no longer allowed to play a certain fishing game, since the rod is always falling underneath floor level if you drop it. They started crying that "I'm stupid! I cannot do it!"
