After assembling the print and play, I'm taking the new Clowdus solo game, Nobels, for a spin.pic.twitter.com/Ky6k09qi1H

I'm curious about this one. Heard good things about Clowdus designs and they've never been as accessible to me. Though, I wish there was a low ink option. :)

I'm the same, he operates so frequently in the 2 player range, that I've never really been able to explore his catalogue. I picked up on of his games (Omen) second hand, played it once, but enjoyed it a lot! He has 2 solo PnP games which is great, but printing them is a pain.

I actually paid to have this professionally printed on 320gsm card. The colours really pop, but I don't think it's worth paying the cost for. His other solo game I printed at home, and it didn't come out great either - the front and back of the cards didn't line up right

Low ink options would be really appreciated to be honest. Full colour printing at home is expensive.

I'm used to assembling print and plays at home for my own prototypes so my main concern is the amount of ink involved. In some cases where I wasn't sure I would like it, I made my own low ink versions so if I did, I could make a pretty version later.

That makes sense. I think you'd definitely find something interesting in Pocket Galapagos and Nobles, the two solo games by Clowdus. Whether or not you'd find them interesting or fun enough to play multiple times, I'm undecided about that myself.

Nobles seems to have a lot of repeated cards, so it may be a nice candidate for an ugly/simple homebrew version. I'll check Pocket Galapagos out!
