In each box you’ll find 24 cards representing different items you have found , and it is your job to piece together the story they tell.pic.twitter.com/lrwEabdWkC

To do this you use an app, which plays the sounds you might hear when each object was being used in the story.pic.twitter.com/c7U3Kqnbje

The app uses AR to automatically recognise a card, and then plays the matching sound track. Using these sounds, you need to work out in which order the objects appear in the story.pic.twitter.com/Zm1du59vvU

To solve a chapter you need to find the three cards that immediately follow one of the leading chapter items - which you know from the start because they are printed on thicker cardboard.pic.twitter.com/SB0iSPZMsz

If you’re right - great! Otherwise the app will tell you how many of the cards are in the right chapter, but not which ones are which - Mastermind style!pic.twitter.com/dRBQ7KwFaj

Once you’ve solved each chapter, one task remains - to put the chapters themselves in order. Only once you do this will you succeed and solve the mystery!

There are three cases in the first batch of releases, The Dancer, the Cocktail and the Microchip - ranging from investigating the mysterious disappearance of a young girl in the Scottish Highlands to trying to piece together the downfall of modern human civilization!pic.twitter.com/1ucsop9bBQ

Fun fact: the inspiration for these games came in part from @gamemakerstk’s video on the Return of the Obra Dinn (recreating past experiences through fragments). The game inspired by his video on Her Story will hopefully be released next year. So a huge thank to you Mark!
