Very interesting! It was the first time I saw a situation like this where there were a similar number of votes for every rating, probably more due to its external circumstances (crowdfunding, IP, nostalgia) than the quality of the game itself.
There are 7 accounts which were created on one day, rated it a 10, logged off and never returned. Which isn't great but not terrible. We've had small publishers get their family members to do that, but it's usually a lot more obvious. People do try to game the BGG system but...
...as above, the algorithm stops it from working. You need over 30 ratings for the average to appear, and it is designed to smooth extremes. Which means that games with a very high or low average are legitimately rated. You'd have to have a lot of genuine 10s to push it up.
