Yep, I went in and bought them on sale - now to get used to using them! Have you found them intuitive from an Adobe user standpoint?

Absolutely, I was surprised at how familiar the interface is and even the shortcuts are mostly the same.

I just need to buy Photo before the end of the month and I have them all!

Same here. I remade all the NISEI card templates in Affinity designer for ease of use and used Publisher to put together all the templated art on cards. No issues with either at all. Do not pay for software monthly if you can help it.

I'm glad to hear! Yeah, subscriptions just add up and up and up...

So i currently use Nandeck for cards, tokens, and tiles. I use Inkscape for sell sheets and larger board images. I use OpenOffice for rules docs. Which parts of Affinity Suite might upgrade these processes? For context, designer not planning to self publish.

To be honest it sounds like you've already got a solid workflow going and if you're happy with it there not might be a reason for you to change.

Does it have an equivalent for InDesign doing data merges for cards. I love the Adobe suite but I really only use illustrator and ID so it is very expensive for 2 apps I use purely for prototyping (I appreciate it is top notch software).

I've heard they introduced Data Merge to Affinity Publisher in the last year but I haven't tried it yet!

Affinity is excellent but I hope they add symbol replacement soon. It’s an important part of my Illustrator game design workflow.

Fingers crossed!
