Tabletop game designer who have games published by others (so not self published), how much input did you have into the visuals/art/graphic design for your game? Would you have liked more, or less?

A little at first, on the first project. None at all in the rest and on the following ones, which is unfortunate because I had a very clear idea of what it could have looked like, which I still like more than what was sent to the factory.

It's not just the illustrations. Clarity and legibility are priority #1 for me.
