I don't understand how anyone could be on the show floor screaming rules or having meetings during the day, then going to a loud bar and getting plastered, only to go back on the showfloor the next day to do it again.

Can't believe he is tripling down with a long blog post. He clearly doesn't get why people are upset with him. Don't read it, it's a waste of time. Such a shame, I looked up to him. Some of his games have been very inspirational to me.

To me the most important skills for a game designer are empathy and the ability to communicate. Right now he's failing at both.

We should absolutely have ways to socialize at game events without involving alcohol. If people don't want to drink, that's none of your business.
