As my game, Whirling Witchcraft, has just been added to @boardgamegeek, I wonder:
What are the pros and cons of me answering to the threads on the game page, in your opinion?https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/335275/whirling-witchcraft …

This is something you should put in clear terms with the publisher, otherwise both might end up expecting the other to answer.

Because I didn't do this, they ended up counting on me to answer questions for my own games, until there was one where I wasn't a part of the last steps of the game and I told them I wouldn't be doing it.

I've been answering questions about the same game for about 6 years now. I've since made other games based on it so I always have to re-learn it in order to answer. It showed me how important a good rulebook really is.

Ha! Yes, it’s not always easy to answer rules questions to a game you’ve played over several years and iterations

This is very true! I still remember all it could have been so I end up having to check the rulebook to check what I settled on in the end.
