Question for my designer friends: I'm considering making a new prototype and wondering if it's worth making the whole thing IN Tabletop Simulator so it can be edited during the session when necessary. Is there a strong reason not to do this?

Yeah, any of these platforms are more suited to some types of games than others. One issue I've not seen a good way around is the ability to peek at face-down components. I think Vassal does that, but the others not so much. (Wouldn't be surprised if there was a TTS trick.)

Yep, TTS allows you to peek at face down cards.
