That’s not really what the game is about. There are monsters in the game, but you’re not “fighting” them, you’re working together to close the book without going mad, the monsters provide an obstacle. It’s one of my all-time favorite co-op’s period.

You’re basically asking for a co-op game with no conflict? Or are you just wanting like a Forbidden Island-esque theme where you’re battling the environment? Like, just building something doesn’t leverage the mechanic in a co-op setting well.

No. Conflict does not mean combat. I don't want to attack or kill anything in order to win. Here are some settings that could work: Astronauts managing/fixing a space station while collecting and researching samples. Fighting forest fires across a country. Paving a busy street.
