I think so too, hoping the replies mention something I missed.

I’ve often wished MagicTheGathering would have group settings where you can co-op. It always felt like a missed opportunity.

Agreed! I believe there is a mode called Archenemy which is one versus all. They even released a standalone box for it (picture). WoW TCG also had raid decks you could play against, which sounded great but I never had a chance to play.pic.twitter.com/p9jUDqaJ7X

But as you said, it’s always in a competitive setting. Once versus all feels like it would be too much for me. The only aspect of that I have experienced in the wild is when in multiplayer tournament, players sometimes would group together to overcome a powerful decks.—

—but nothing where you could have multiplayers tournament with say 2 players or more = 1 deck v other multiplayer decks. It might exist but I have not experienced that in MTG or anything else.

Maybe we should make one!

Maybe! :D I've spent years working on deckbuilders so I'm not too eager to jump into another one unless it's doing something really unique.

Whether I’ve played MMos or Deckbuilders, I’ve always liked cooperative roles. Imagine the possibility to have a specialty role as a deckmaker that gives you access to cards specifically for your role and then combining that with other player role types with their own cards...

Just the theorycraft would be amazing. And even you could imagine that to unlock your access to more deck aspects or cards or powers you need to manage single and group play to enhance your talent tree and being your own unique assets to co-op deckbuilds.

Me too, I'd rather play medic than rambo! In Superhot: The Card Game there is an element where you can pass cards to another player at the end of a round, which I really enjoyed.

Oh, I'm thinking of deckbuilders where you build your decks during gameplay, not so much something where you build a deck anticipating a game.

I see what you mean. Sorry, I got carried away with world-building and campaigns and co-op formats with endless possibilities. But yeah on the fly building would be a lot more fun if you could specialize in certain roles.
