Quick explanation: Some serious allegations on harassment of young devs in Portugal has come forward but a lot (most) of people in the Portuguese game dev community wont even discuss it. I'm calling them a turd for it and now I'm insulting people, clearly a much concerning topic.

Much clearer. This is something I see frequently (though more often in the boardgame community) and I don't think attacking them back will drive the point home.

The solution is moderation and a strict code of conduct. In Portuguese communities it often looks like there's a race to post the first smartass reply, which will make situations like these even worse.

True, except if it's a discussion about harassement, than the comments are either "I think you're all jumping to conclusions", "tell me when the judgement and sentence is done" or the cherry on top a private message asking to delete the post for "the good of the community".

Enablers. It's what I said in the other reply about sheep and wolves. Those kinds of situations have to have consequences and made public, or else they'll happen again and again, driving people away every time. Even just having the topic visible with only those replies is bad.
