If a serious discussion about the real possibility of harassment to young starting devs is happening in a small game dev facebook group but there's someone who even take the time to discuss it or acknowledge it. is that person:

The solution is moderation and a strict code of conduct. In Portuguese communities it often looks like there's a race to post the first smartass reply, which will make situations like these even worse.
-
True, except if it's a discussion about harassement, than the comments are either "I think you're all jumping to conclusions", "tell me when the judgement and sentence is done" or the cherry on top a private message asking to delete the post for "the good of the community".

Doing nothing isn't an option, this topic has been open in the group for 3 days now, but there's only silence, everyone is looking away until it goes away. I've received very concerning private messages, but how will these people come forward if the dev community doesn't listen?
-
I'm sure part of it is people ignoring it, but there's also the fact that only stuff that gets activity gets boosted in the feed.
