I need good ideas on this: I'm working on a card game that could use ANY image on each card. Each card in a deck needs to have a unique image (but each deck can be different). I am trying to figure out if the cards could be made from existing paper scrap. (1/2)

For example, perhaps a printer that could assemble decks out of their own paper scraps. Or maybe there are sources of scrap paper with images on cardstock (old postcards?) that could be used. Each deck would have about 100 cards. Does anything come to mind that could work?

The first thought that comes to mind are plastic sleeves which the players could put images into. Depending on how competitive it is you might run into problems with the varying paper/cardboard thickness.

Good idea but trying to not use plastic (for sustainability reasons).

Ah! That is a bigger challenge. Do they need to be shuffled? Do the cards need to all have the same size? If so, wondering if a "backing card with slits on the corners could hold the images in place.pic.twitter.com/uAeq9drn46

In that case I would suggest supplying the players with a template they could use to cut their own images out of the materials they choose. Unfortunately I don't think it would take too much shuffling before the corners would start to tear.
