So, people have talked about how much the pandemic has changed board gaming, and how playing games online is a lot more popular etc. From my POV, once lock down cleared and we could freely play with people safely, i was less interested in online play than ever before.

The only aspect I like about online games is I get to play with friends I don't normally get to game with. Lovely catching up with them, something I genuinely hope continues after we get back to normal.

I feel like I wasted my chance to start playing games with new people online during the pandemic. Tried to get some other friends into them. While it was fun, none stuck around.

That's true and I even managed to design and release a small print and play in all of this. I'd love to join one of those play sessions!
