That sounds incredibly frustrating. A natural reaction to these discussions is to go check your patreon profile out, and if people have to google it (they'd have to look for it on muckrack as well) they might lose interest.

Yeah, I'm not sure. That's kind of what I'm asking in part. If I'm honest what I find most difficult is that some folks seem to have gathered 7-8+ times what I do and I *don't know why*. If they're just tons better than me, fine, I just need to know what it is!!

As always it feels like it comes down to “all about who you know”. Which sometimes means lesser quality reviews get paid while high quality gets ignored. Social media is a fickle thing where the creme clearly doesn’t reach the top.
