I'm a big fan of Grant's games and he's one of the few people I know with one foot in videogames and the other in boardgames. Well worth a listen.https://twitter.com/5games4doomsday/status/1323230285820055552 …

Yeah, I rather enjoyed it. Grant has got a great voice for radio/podcasts too.

I said "um" too much. I think it's because the questions were difficult and I had to think through them. I'm dying to have a podcast but I keep struggling to conceive a unique premise where I can have a voice and not just be the 10000th version of that podcast.

You could start the "Grant loves Cole" podcast. Every episode is something new you love about

It's tricky and I agree it needs a strong concept to avoid falling into the "this is what I've been playing this week" void.

Well, I'm honestly not even that interested in covering board games. I feel it's hyper niche and difficult to stand out in any way. I just feel there are hundreds of BG podcasts at this point.

Absolutely. At this point there are only two I listen to, and only sporadically. I really enjoyed the format behind this one, with a guest bringing 5 games to talk about.

At this point I would be up for a podcast about things that inspire you or a guest. I've discovered so many good shows, books and movies from a (now old) podcast called "Out of the Game".

This was basically a group of ex-game journalists (Robert Ashely, N'Gai Croal, Shawn Elliott, Jeff Green, Luke Smith) having in-depth conversations about whatever came up.
