I can’t be the only one who’s not hugely excited for Cyber Punk 2077. I mean I’m gonna play it eventually, but not on day 1. It looks amazing for sure, but I’m not waiting for it with bated breath.

I love cyberpunk but I can't stand how the CDPR treats their workers and hate how the game is framing body modification as making someone "unclean". I don't think they can handle that theme, would love to see what another studio could do with the same briefing and resources.

On the one hand, at least CDPR does profit sharing with their employees, unlike how most of this industry is treated, and they are compensated for overtime. On the other hand, mandatory overtime always sucks.

How does that make up for lost time, stress, PTSD? Maybe it can help to pay for their therapy afterwards, if they're allowed to go.

I did. You seemed to be presenting those as equivalent and I was commenting that they are not compatible.

If I said, "on the one hand, I got a new job, but on the other hand, my car caught fire today" would you say "oh, so getting a job = burning your car" ???? Comeon man. You're making weird leaps of logic. Ask questions instead of making assumptions if you're not sure.

Now it's like you didn't read my earlier reply. They might have an unusual bonus as well as they have crushing mandatory working conditions the bonus doesn't make up for. I'm not going to argue further.
